CSU-ERFA Standing Committees Grant Awards: The Grant Awards Committee consists of a Chair and two members. Using guidelines approved by the State Council, the committee recommends applicants who are deserving of a CSU-ERFA Grant Award. The committee makes its recommendations to the Executive Committee, which makes the final determination. The Chair of the Grant Awards Committee serves on the State Council. Grant Awards Committee Chair (2007-08): Max Norton (Stanislaus) . Members: Eleanor Price (Dominguez Hills), Sally Hurtado de Lopez (Sonoma). Legislative Affairs: The Legislative Affairs Committee consists of the Director of Legislative Affairs and two members. The committee follows legislation, California Public Employees' Retirement System Board decisions, and other actions that affect the welfare of CSU-ERFA members. The committee makes recommendations to the Executive Committee and State Council. The Director of Legislative Affairs serves on the State Council. Legislative Affairs Committee Chair (2007-08): Robert O. Bess (Sacramento) . Members: David Elliott (San Jose), Wilma Krebs (Sacramento). Health Benefits: The Health Benefits Committee consists of Director of Health Benefits and from three to six members. The committee follows discussions, decisions, and actions of the California Public Employees' Retirement System Board of Administration, the California Legislature, California executive agencies, Congress, and federal government agencies that relate to health benefits, especially those affecting retirees. The committee makes recommendations to the Executive Committee and the State Council. The Director of Health Benefits serves on the State Council. Health Benefits Committee Chair (2007-08): Milton Dobkin (Humboldt) . Members: David DeFault (San Diego), David Humphers (Sacramento), Wilma Krebs (Sacramento), Barbara Sinclair (Los Angeles), Robert Wilson (San Jose). Membership Committee: The Membership Committee is composed of a Chair and four members. It provides up-to-date lists of retired faculty members and works on the recruitment of new members and the retention of existing members. The Chair of the Membership Committee serves on the State Council. Membership Committee Chair (2007-08): David Quadro (Fresno) . Members: Adnan Daoud (San Jose), Rosemarie Marshall (Los Angeles), Donna Ryan (San Francisco), Alan Wade (Sacramento). Pre- and Post-Retirement Committee: The Pre- and Post-Retirement Committee consists of a Chair and two members. The committee keeps the the membership informed about retirement program needs and strategies to improve members' retirement status. When appropriate, it coordinates its efforts with those of the Legislative Affairs Committee. The committee also consults with campus affiliates on the development of pre- and post-retirement programs. The Chair of the Pre- and Post-Retirement Committee serves on the State Council. Pre- and Post-Retirement Committee Chair (2007-08): William Blischke (Dominguez Hills) . Members: Herbert Rutemiller (Fullerton), June Pollak (Fullerton). Publications Committee: The Publications Committee is composed of a Chair and three members. The committee develops policies relating to the organization's periodic and occasional publications (The Reporter, the CSU-ERFA web pages, the pocket calendar, the Survivor's Guide, etc.) Publications Committee Chair (2007-08): Ted Anagnoson (Los Angeles) . Members: Donald Dewey (Los Angeles), Judson Grenier (Dominguez Hills), Mark Shapiro (Fullerton). Nominating Committee: The Nominating Committee nominates candidates for the various CSU-ERFA offices and also selects three at-large members of the State Council. The 2007 Nominating Committee includes David Elliott (San Jose) who serves as Chair, Robert Bess (Sacramento), Mary Corcoran (Northridge), Dieter Renning (Stanislaus), Sam Wiley (Dominguez Hills), and Robert Kully (ex officio, non-voting) (Los Angeles). CSUF-ERFA Liaisons and Archivist Liaison to the California Faculty Association: H. Dieter Renning (Stanislaus) . Liaison to the CSU Academic Senate: Ronald Kroman (Long Beach) .
